Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22 at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons Carnell and Roland Chambers; daughters, Debra Payne and Sheena Chambers; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Elroy Coleman; and sister, Bertha C. Minor.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Marlin Payne, Jr.; parents, Jessie Chambers (Pearl) and Deborah Jackson-Coleman (Robert); brothers, Roland, Clarence, Morris and Robert "Henry" Coleman.
