Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 2424 Grand Caillou Road in Houma. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Ranch Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Arthur) Lewis; one devoted granddaughter, Hope (Allen, Jr.) Wagner; one grandson, Clyde Outley; three great grandsons, Shawn, Jakhari and Jasshai Wagner; two godchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel, Sr. and Antonio Taplett-Harris; sisters, Lillian and Leola Harris; brothers, McKinley Parfait, Clifford, Sr., Melvin, Arthur, Henry, Nathanial, Jr. and Eli Harris.
