Samuel Scott, Sr., age 74, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his residence at 10:45 PM. Visitation will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Morgan City, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Burial will be in the Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Riverside, Ca. Samuel leaves to cherish his memory; his son, Samuel Scott, Jr. of Compton, Ca; two daughters, Veronica Scott & Jeanette Simpson both of Compton, Ca; five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
