Schwann Rochel Charles

Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until funeral service 10:00AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Beacon Light Baptist Church 4325 W. Park Ave. Gray, LA. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Schwann "Wanne" Rochel Randolph Charles transition to Heaven on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 6:35am. She was born on May 3, 1973 in Houma, LA to the late Harold Randolph and Eartha Jiles. She was a native of Gray, LA.

Schwann was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a 1992 high school graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School where she ran track. She also graduated from Delta College in 1993 in Business Administration. She worked at Chabert Medical Center as Administrative Coordinator and work at WalMart overnight as a cashier.

She served as an Usher at Beacon Light Baptist Church for many years.

Memories of Schwann will remain forever in the hearts of her mother, Eartha Jiles; two daughters, Daija Randolph and Alaisha Charles; one son, James (Crystal) Robinson, Jr.; two sisters, Karmaletta Randolph and Buffy Randolph; three grandchildren, Luke Robinson, Emily Robinson, and Ailani Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friend.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Donovan Charles; father, Henry Jiles; biological father, Harold Randolph, brother, Harold " Randy" Randolph, Jr.; cousin, Jerome Evans; and grandmother, Hilda Wilson.

The family of Schwann would like to thank the Doctors and Healthcare team of Ochsner, throughout the years and during her last days.
