Shirley Lee Robinson

A viewing for Shirley will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New St Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2766 LA-311, Houma, Louisiana, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Shirley was born on December 12, 1951, in Valentine, Louisiana, to the Late Dorothy Taylor and Sidney Taylor Sr. Shirley was united in holy matrimony to the late MacArthur Robinson.

Shirley leaves to cherish her precious memories of four children. One Son, Kevin Robinson of Spring, TX, three daughters: Daphne Taylor of Baton Rouge, LA, Tracy Robinson (Allen) of Lockport, LA, Sheallen Westley (Malcolm) of Gray, LA,

She leaves behind two brothers, Sidney Taylor Jr. of Thibodaux, LA, and David Taylor of Hammond, LA, and four Sisters: Nona Rogers (Floyd) of Slaughter, LA, Debra Jacobs of Hammond, LA, Evelina Cormier (Wilbert) of Lockport, LA, and Diana Taylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Five sisters-in-law: Thelma Burkes Robinson, Catherine Johnson, Angela Robinson, Audrey Lee Robinson, and Louanna Taylor. She's also survived by 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She also leaves to cherish her a devoted friend, Barbara Anne Bryant of Raceland, La, and Vickie Curry of Lockport, La.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, the Late Mac Arthur Robinson, her parents, Dorothy Taylor and Sidney Taylor Sr., Her Grandmother and grandfather, Evelina Duncan and Oscar Coleman, two Grandchildren, Shaniece Taylor and Ky’driuan Thompkins, two brothers, Richard Taylor Sr. and Ronald Taylor, one Uncle, James Duncan, Two Aunts, Leontine Mims and Audrey Fletcher Duncan, one great aunt, Celestine Breaux, and one great uncle, Benny Smith.
