Shirley Washington, age 64, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Patterson, La., died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Teche Regional Medical Center at 4:28 AM. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, LA. Burial will be in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson, LA. Shirley Washington leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Cleaudrey T. Hartman of Patterson, La; son, Darrell M. Williams, Sr. of Patterson, La; four daughters, Denise W. Wesley, Kim W. Green, Carolyn W. Verdun and Anita Washington all of Patterson, LA; two brothers, Gregory C. Hartman of Berwick, LA., and Kerry Gant of Patterson, LA; three sisters, Degra Gant and Algean Brown both of Patterson, LA., and Lakita Henry of Opelousas, LA; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Al C. Hartman and her husband.
