Visitation will be Saturday, January 7th, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Steven leaves to mourn five brothers; Curtis Haynes, SR. (Lillian) of Virginia, Wayne Haynes, SR., of Houma, La., Richard Haynes, SR.,(Nancy) of Port Arthur, TX., Cleve Sanford, II (Kate) of Shreveport, La., and Brian Sanford, SR., of Corpus Christy, TX; six sisters, Janet Smith of Baton Rouge, La., Treasure Singleton (Roderick) and Kathy Sanford both of Shreveport, La., Vernell Jones (Burt) of Virginia, Alma Ulmer of Gautier, MS., and Leslie Sanford of Dallas, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Cleave and Ruby Sanford, Sr; one aunt-Alice Moton; a uncle, Wilson Moton, a brother, Stanley Sanford, one cousin, Ray Robinson and a nephew, Author Sanford.
