Theresa Jean Bourgeois Smith, 62, a native of Verdunville and a resident of Houston, died Monday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at noon at the Immaculate Conception Church in Verdunville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday at the church with a rosary said at 11:30 AM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Lakewood Church in Houston. She is survived by her husband, Larry V. Smith; sons, Torri D. Smith and Toby K. Smith; her mother, Frances B. Bourgeois; siblings, Kerry Bourgeois, Claire Bourgeois, Carmen B. Bourgeois, Carla B. Weidenboerner, Sherman Bourgeois, Phillip Bourgeois and Dawn Paul; five grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mabrie Memorial Mortuary in Houston and Jones Funeral Home in Franklin.
