Troy Anthony Jones, Sr., age 48, a resident and native of Morgan City, La., died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Teche Regional Medical Center at 11:43 PM. Visitation will be at Mt. Era Baptist Church, Friday, February 24, 2012 from 10:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Troy leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Vera W. Jones of Morgan City, La; his wife, Robin S. Jones of Morgan City, La; one son, Troy Anthony Jones, Jr., of Jacksonville, Fl., and one stepson, Darell Dewey, Jr., of Patterson, La; one daughter, Tiffany Michelle Jones-Adames of Jacksonville, FL., three stepdaughters, Tracie Cavalier and Jolicia Dewey both of Jacksonville, Fl., and Marquita Drayton of Bremerton, WA; three brothers, Dwight E. Jones of Houston, TX., Mark T. Jones, Sr., of Patterson, La., and Isaac D. Jones of Morgan City, La; four sisters, Carolyne J. Gash and Dannette J. Hawkins both of Morgan City, La., Veronica J. Johnson of Patterson, La., and Joell J. Bobb of Natchitoches, La; and a host of relatives and friends.
