Ulysses Knight, Jr.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM until Tribute Ceremony at 6:00 PM at Triumph Baptist Church 1005 Iberia St. Franklin, LA. 

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Church of the Assumption, 211 Iberia St., Franklin, LA at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be in the Nazarene Cemetery in Verdunville, LA.

He was born to the Late Ulysses Knight and Annie Mae Thomas Knight on December 21,1953 in Lafayette, LA. On October 10, 1983 he married Tammy P. Knight. They lived in Verdunville, LA where he had several businesses.

He leaves to cherish his memories; children, Ulysses Knight III. of Baton Rouge, LA, Eric (Chantel) Kirk of Jeanerette, LA, Devin Verdun of Verdunville, LA, Sheraka Knight of Lafayette, Yamillas Millie (Terrell) Marsh-Gant of Verdunville, LA, sisters, Beverly (Edward) Knight-Wilson Sr., Felicia (Bernard) Mitchell Sr. of Franklin, LA, Tiffany (Cory Butler) Warner & Nicole Warner of New Iberia, LA, brothers, Stephone (Tiffany) Knight of New Orleans, LA, Curtis (Sherry) Knight Sr. of New Iberia, LA, Keith (Theresa) Warner of Columbus, GA, Brian (Kathy)Warner of St. Louis, Missouri, Marcus (Connie) Warner of Boston, Massachusetts, Carl (Andrea)Warner of Youngsville, LA; Clarence (Cynthia) Warner of New Iberia, LA; one godchild Jasmine Mitchell of Franklin, LA, Great- Aunt Mercedes Knight-Tyson of Port Arthur, TX; Aunt Helen (Jeff) Carson of Baldwin, LA, Uncles, Isiah Thomas, Raymond Thomas, Wynord (Regina) Thomas Sr., grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many devoted friends.

Ulysses was preceded in death by his father Ulysses Knight Sr., mother Annie Mae Thomas-Knight, Brother Alonzo Knight Sr. and grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
