Vicky L. Jones

Vicky Jones, born December 10, 1954, age 57, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Gibson, La., died Friday, at Leonard Chabert Medical Center in Houma, La., at 4:00 AM. Vicky accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Greenwoods, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Greenwoods, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM. Burial in the Greenwoods Cemetery. Her cherished memories will forever live in the hearts of her seven children; Alexisa (Louis) Williams of Morgan City, La; Clarence Jones (Sarah) of Houma, La., Kevin Jones, Allison Jones, Victor Jones, Kenneth Jones and Shantell Jones all of Gibson, La; four brothers, Joseph Jones of Vacaville, CA., Alvin (Patricia) Jones, Sr., of Morgan City, La., Melvin (Lorena) Jones of Jeanerette, La., Randy (Kendra) Jones of Clinton, MS., one sister, Dorine Jones of Morgan City, La; three godchildren, Jennifer Jones, Alvin Jones and Niles Sylvester all of Morgan City, La; one foster daughter, Amelia (Louis) Parker of Morgan City, La; two aunts, seventeen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Vicky was preceded in death by her loving and devoted companion, Clarence McGuire, JR; her parents, Melvin and Ozie M. Jones; one daughter, Sandra Shanice Jones, two sisters and one brother.
