William "Brad" Bradford, Jr

William ""Brad"" Bradford, Jr., age 86, a native and a resident of Morgan City, La., died Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:07 PM at Teche Regional Medical Center. Brad served in the United States Army Air Force as Sergeant, Treasurer for Mt. Zion Baptist Church, President of the NAACP, member on the Charter Board of Directors for Community Action Agency, Inc., Board Member of the Morgan City Housing Authority, Chairman of Siracusa Community Board, Assist, WSW Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral Service will be at the Siracusaville Recreation Center at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Morgan City Cemetery. The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform At graveside. Brad leaves to cherish his memories; his wife of 65 years, Audrey Johnson Bradford of Morgan City, La; his eight children, Ricky Bradford, Ken Bradford, Kerry Bradford, Billy Bradford, Shawn Bradford, Corey Bradford, Neva Green and Dionne Sanders; one sister, Shirley Penn of Morgan City, La., one brother, Edward Thomas of Dallas, TX; nineteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
