Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Sunlight Baptist Church located at 985 Bull Run Road in Schriever, LA. Burial will follow in Deadwood Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Charles William Carter, brother, Kenneth Jenkins; sister, Tina Henderson; devoted friend and caretaker, Adrian Short; a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Camel Carter; brother, Junius Carter; nephew, Daniel Henderson, and his grandparents.
