Willie B. Edwards, age 63, a native and resident of Jeanerette, La., died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Baton Rouge Health Care. Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Jeanerette, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Willie leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Elton and Ruby Edwards of Jeanerette, La; one brother, Kerry James Edwards of Baton Rouge, La; four sisters, Mrs. Charley (Elaine E.) Handy, Sr. of Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Leroy (Marjorie E.) Harris of Oklahoma City, OK, Tarajee Abdul-Aleem of New Orleans, La., and Jacquelyn E. Davis of Jeanerette, La., and a host of relatives and friends.
