

He was united in marriage to the love of his life Alice Silva on July 18, 1964 at El Buen Pastor Church in Rockdale, Texas, the officiating pastor was the late Rev. J.C. Cantu.
Aaron had a long-time career in the automotive industry as owner of his business Aaron Davila Paint & Body Shop. He also worked for Cy-Fair ISD for 25 years where he retired from in 2012.
He was a member of El Tabernaculo Assembly of God Church for over 40 years under the pastorship of the late Rev. J.C. Cantu. More recently, he was a member of Destiny Fellowship under the pastorship of Abram and Ana Padron.
The joy of his life was his dear wife Alice and caring for his daughters, granddaughters, and son in law. He had a passion for gardening. He absolutely loved flowers and kept a bountiful vegetable garden. He had a love for sports especially baseball, he was an avid Houston Astros fan.
Aaron is preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Pauline Davila; parents, Pedro and Maria de Jesus Davila; brothers, Adiel Davila and Pedro Davila, Jr., and sisters, Lydia Serna, Elizabeth Tamayo, Seoledad Gonzalez, Rebecca Pantoja, and Blanca Padron.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Alice Silva Davila of 57 years; daughters, Kimberly Dawn Gonzales and husband John A. Gonzales and daughter Tricia Yvette Ledezma; grandchildren Brittani Yvette and Robert Joyner, Breanna Alyse, and Braelyn Erin; brother, Eleazar “Bobby” Davila and wife Lucille Davila; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A visitation for Aaron will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a celebration of life at 7:00 PM.
