Aaron William Gafford, 48 of Houston, Texas passed away on August 16, 2022. He was born in Channelview, Texas on March 1, 1974 to John R. Gafford and Cindy Picha Brown. Aaron graduated from Klein Forest High School in 1992 and he received his degree from Texas State Technical College. Aaron met Shelly Castellese in 2007 and they married on June 24th, 2016. Aaron had a very successful career in construction. One of his many accomplishments was being promoted to Superintendent at age 23. On September 5, Aaron would have celebrated 22 years with his company, StructureTone. He was well respected by everyone, from the Executives to the crews he worked with daily. He had a passion for fishing, cooking, gardening, and cheering on all the local Houston sports teams, but his very favorite team was the Washington Redskins from the time he was very young.
Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, John Allen Gafford and Jaquie Louise; uncle, Marvin William Gafford whom he was named after, and grandfather, Gilbert Picha.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly Castellese Gafford; dad, John R. Gafford; mom, Cindy Picha Brown; grandmother, Janett Picha; brother, John G. Gafford; sister, Kimberly Janett Gafford; nieces, Angie, Aubrey, Hunter and Remington; nephews, John Taylor and Abel; dog, Ace Whataburger Boudin Gafford; and other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family members.
Serving as pallbearers Shawn Golden, Eddie Williams, Marty Corley, Pete Stewart, Frankie Wilson, and Troy Lockwood. Honorary pallbearers are John G. Gafford, John T. Gafford, and Joey Lowery.

A visitation for Aaron will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A burial will occur Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
