

Mr. Abiodun Adeyekun of Richmond, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on January 2, 1955, in Ondo Town, Nigeria, and spent his formative years in Ibadan, where his character, values, and deep-rooted faith began to take shape.
Mr. Adeyekun dedicated 32 remarkable years to a distinguished career as a Geophysicist with Chevron Corporation. His professional life was marked by excellence, integrity, and a commitment to advancing his field. Beyond his career, he lived a life of service. He was passionately involved in church activities, missions, community outreaches, support for the elderly, and care for orphans and widows—leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 of his sisters.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted spouse, Dr. Bolanle Adeyekun; his children—Moyosore and Paul, Oyindamola and Tunmise, and Adewanle; and his cherished grandchildren, Ifeoluwa and Inioluwa. His legacy lives on in the family he treasured and the many people he uplifted throughout his life.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered care, compassion, prayers and support during his final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on November 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. Visitation with the family will begin at 8:00 AM, with interment to follow at the same location.
Mr. Adeyekun will be remembered for his unwavering faith, generous spirit, and the love he poured into others. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
