

Able Gabriel Rodriguez, age 50, of Houston, Texas, passed away on June 15, 2025. Born in Brookshire, Texas on February 13, 1975, Able was a devoted husband, father, veteran, and friend whose generosity and strength touched countless lives.
A proud graduate of Royal High School, Able went on to earn a degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. He served his country honorably as a United States Marine for 14 years and continued his commitment to service through the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable Reserve Unit. After his time in uniform, Able brought his dedication and work ethic to careers in banking and, most recently, HVAC installation.
Able married the love of his life, Michelle Rodriguez, and together they shared 25 years of unwavering partnership and deep devotion. He was a dedicated and loving father to his two sons, Able Alexander Rodriguez and Nicholas Gabriel Rodriguez, always involved in their lives and interests. He lived for his family and made every effort to be present, intentional, and supportive in all that they did.
Beyond his professional and familial commitments, Able found joy in riding motorcycles and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He was known for his selflessness, always eager to share his knowledge, offer assistance, and build up those around him with quiet strength and compassion.
Able is survived by his beloved wife Michelle, his sons Able Alexander and Nicholas Gabriel, and his siblings Ruth Abigail Rodriguez, Jo Ann Booth, Patricia Jean Rochon, Lisa Sally Moore, and Abel Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Able Rodriguez and Bisenta Lemos Rodriguez, both of Brookshire, Texas.
Able Gabriel Rodriguez leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and integrity. His life was a testament to loyalty, generosity, and the power of showing up for others. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
A visitation will be held on June 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the American Heritage Funeral Home, located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
A catered reception will take place on June 25, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the same venue.
The funeral service is scheduled for June 26, 2025, from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm at the American Heritage Funeral Home.
The committal service will follow on June 26, 2025, from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm at the Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
