It has been very difficult to find the strength, let alone the words to write this. 

Abraham Jackson Morales,
Was a special little guy. 
His parents quickly suspected that Abe would be a boy even before the doctors confirmed it. They went through an endless number of names trying to find the right one. Baby Abe wanted his presence to be known, and his parents had to make sure that his name matched his personality. 

Abraham was his dad's birthday present. 
He was the family's Christmas gift. 
He got a father son baptism on Easter. 
He is Jordan and Karla's first child. 
He is the family's first grandson. 
And he is my first nephew. 
He has and will forever have his place in the family. 


Children are a blessing from God. 
They are a symbol of hope. 
Hope in the goodness of mankind. 
Hope in the unconditional love that one person can have for another being. 
And most of all, hope in the future that is forever uncertain. 
When we are forced to face the loss of a child, we  involuntarily face the loss of hope. 
We are only left with ruins of what was once a beautiful moment in time. 
And yet deep in that rubble, the lord will await us. 
God will help us rebuild new hope.

REST IN PEACE you handsome little angle. Your mom and dad are truly blessed to have had such a special little guy like you. Let every Christmas and Easter be a bit more special for all of those who hold you dear to their hearts.

You are in a better place now. No more pain, only happiness which is what you need after all you went through. We will miss you very much.

You took a little bit of our hearts with you little Abe and you replaced our empty space with a piece of yours. You will always be a part of our lives and in our hearts.
