Abram was born in Waelder, Texas, and later made Houston his home, where he spent the majority of his life building a legacy of strength, devotion, and family values. A man of deep faith and service, Abram dedicated over three decades of his life working for the Catholic Diocese at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church before retiring. His commitment to the church and its community reflected the steady devotion that defined his life.
Abram was also a proud member of the St. Francis de Sales Knights of Columbus Council #10995 in Houston, Texas, where he shared fellowship and continued his lifelong dedication to faith, charity, and service.
Abram was known for his hardworking spirit, humble heart, and the love he poured into his family. He lived a long and meaningful life, leaving behind memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Guadalupe Perales, and his youngest son, Abram Perales Jr.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077, on February 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, located at 8200 Roos Rd, Houston, Texas 77036, on February 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
A committal service will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077.
Abram’s life was a testament to faith, resilience, and unwavering love for his family. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on through all who were blessed to know him.
