Ada A. Villar, 64, passed away due to natural causes on April 3, 2017. Ada was survived by her loving brothers and sister, Dr. Santos L. Villar, Benny Villar and Beba Nuno and their spouses, children and grandchildren. Ada was a devoted daughter of Pura Saavedra and Luis Villar, sister, aunt and friend. Born in Havana, Cuba, she was a proud American citizen. A graduate University of St. Thomas she was a SR. Financial Accounting Analyst in the Oil and Gas industry for over 30 years, Chevron, Texaco, Gulf. Devout in her faith she believed whole heartedly in helping and serving others in her community. Ada's last words, "I believe in God". Rosary followed by Funeral Mass to commence at 1:00 pm at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Parkway, Houston, TX 77002 Monday, April 10, 2017. Following the Funeral Mass there will be a burial at Forest Park Westheimer with a reception after. The family acknowledges and thanks Herlinda Partida and Edel Rodriguez for their assistance and devotion to Ada especially during her illness.
