Adadelle Y. Schumacher

Mrs. Schumacher was born in Pearsall, Texas, May 31, 1911. Most of her life was spent in Texas except for a brief period where she lived in Peoria, Illinois with her husband of 57 years, William J. Schumacher, who died in 1994.

Adadelle’s favorite pastimes included sewing, painting and working word puzzles. Additionally, she was an avid outdoor lover and enjoyed spending time with her birds and animals. Throughout her many years she has been a blessing and inspiration to her family and all those who held the good fortune of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mable McNabb and is survived by her half-sister Maxine Schoolfield, of Kyle, Texas, daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Tom Brock of Houston, Texas, daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Larry Murphy, of Lakeway, Texas, granddaughter, Julie Brock, nieces Pat Walzel, Penny Mayhew, and Cindy Glass, nephew Buddy Glass, and step-grandsons Scott and Mark Murphy.
