Adan Perez Garcia

Adan Perez Garcia, age 82, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Adan was born in Beeville, Texas to Rosa Perez Garcia and Rafael Garcia. He is survived by his brothers Domingo and Jose Garcia, sister Janie Adame, children Lisa and Lora Garcia, daughter in love Lorraine Garcia, grandchildren Richard, Ross, Tatjana, Natalie, Christian, Devin, Isaiah, Mia and many adoring great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Marie Garcia, beloved son Adam Jr, daughter Elizabeth, brother Ralph, sister Teresa.

Eldest of six Adan was a strong and supportive presence in his siblings lives, working as a crop sharer into his early twenties, before venturing into roofing and onto building his own successful roofing business for over 40 years.

Adan was a present and well respected father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and cousin. He very much believed in the motto, “Work Hard, Play Hard”. After long and hard days roofing he would participate in his extended family’s baseball league, winning championships, was an avid fisherman, hunter, and athlete, enjoying tennis, bowling league, winning many pool tournaments and coaching little league for his children and grandchildren. He adored music, performing and playing in bands throughout his life, sharing his love of music with his children and grandchildren, and dancing many nights away to his favorite tunes with his beloved wife, children and grandchildren.

He was a man of faith, praying man, believer of God while leading his family. His strong, larger than life, funny, loving and fun spirit and presence will be missed every single day until we see him again.
