Adice Rodgers

Adice Frances Rodgers, born February 19, 1914 in Groveton, Texas passed away March 29, 2020. She is preceded by her husband Martin Weldon Rodgers, her daughter Sue Della Croce, her son Danny Rodgers, and her brother Hayne Dominy. Adice attended Sam Houston State University where she became an elementary school teacher after graduation. She taught in the Galena Park ISD for many years before moving to the 1960 area and began teaching for Cypress Fairbanks ISD where she retired. Adice was a charter member of Lakewood United Methodist Church where she enjoyed serving and worshiping with friends and family. She was loved by all and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her grandson Michael Della Croce and his wife Melissa of Houston; grandchildren: Suzanne, James, and Clayton Rodgers of Virginia; great-grandchildren: Michelle Ludwig and her spouse Sierra, Tyler Della Croce; niece Judde Dominy; great-niece Monica Herring and her husband Cody and family. She also leaves behind many close friends and extended family. Funeral services will be private with a memorial service to follow at a later date.
