Adolfo Garza Jr.

Adolfo met Guadalupe Sanchez in San Benito and married on September 1, 1963. Adolfo had a career in welding at Exxon Refinery for 31 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolfo Garza Sr. and Aurelia Garza; siblings, Josephina Plaita, Estella Martin, Eligio Garza, Isabel Diaz, Pedro Garza, Juan Garza, and Armando Garza; grandchildren, Danielle Pena and Jason Zarate.

Adolfo is survived by his beautiful wife, Guadalupe Garza; 7 children, Carmen (Alex), Villarreal, Aurelia, Cynthia (Vince) Pena, Adolfo III (Rita) Garza, Ricardo (Michelle) Garza, Lena (Rolando) Abrego and Michael (Cecelia) Garza; 22 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Nestora Garza, Juanita Rangel, Ofelia Guajardo and Esther Valdez; along with close nephews, nieces, extended family, and many of his great friends.

A visitation for Adolfo will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home.
