Adrian Lawrence Farr Sr (99) of Romayor Texas went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family at his home on August 29, 2026. Adrian was born in Luling Tx on September 20, 1926 to Adrian Lawson Farr and Rubye Farr.
Adrian is survived by his loving wife Barbara to whom he was married to for over 73 years. He is also survived by his son Adrian Lawrence Farr Jr and wife Debbie Farr, his grand children Joshua, Benjamin and wife Dally, Zachary, Joy, Sam, Lydia and his cousin Cheryl.
Immediately after graduation from Conroe High School in 1945, Adrian was drafted into the army along with his best and life long friend Herman Monroe, in the service of his country during World War II. His job during the war was sailing to Australia to escort war brides back to the US. Upon returning from the army Adrian attended Sam Houston State University where he received a degree in education. He went on to get a masters from University of Houston. He worked as a draftsman in the oil and gas industry and upon retiring found lots of hobbies and other activities to keep him busy. He traveled with Barbara on numerous trips to Scotland, Ireland, Hawaii, the American northeast, Alaska etc, After enjoying this season of travel he took up projects in his shop and served as an usher at his church in Cleveland Texas. Adrian was a devoted husband and father who loved giving gifts, making things and fixing things for his wife, son and grandchildren. Because Adrian grew up during the depression, he rarely threw anything away. His family has inherited a valuable collection of empty coffee can and old pill bottles filled with screws and nails.
Adrian has departed this world but is now present with the Lord, he will be greatly missed but not forgotten by those whose lives he touched.
