

Adrienne Michelle Carpenter, age 28, was born August 12, 1983 and passed November 3, 2011. Adrienne died at Methodist Hospital in Houston after her life-long fight against Cystic Fibrosis. She was born in The Woodlands, TX and graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2001 and St. Edwards University in 2007. At the time of her death she was in her final year of coursework for a Philosophy PHD in Medical Ethics from St. Louis University. She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Dianne Carpenter of Houston, her sister Alison Kroulek and husband Sean Kroulek of Chickamauga, Georgia; her grandparents, Bill and Robbie Reeves of Nashville TN; her aunts and uncles, Kenneth & Adrian Carpenter, Kelli and Mickey Brown, Steve Reeves and Jennifer Rasnic-Reeves, Vicki Greer and Karen Cox; her cousins, Josh Carpenter, Kaleigh Carpenter, Katie Brown, Kelli-Grace Brown, Emmy Brown, Chloe Brown, Zak Cox, Joshua Cox and Amy Greer; and the love of her life Jason Bratschi. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her closest friends, Dana Beuhler, Mandy Sones Wood and Yalda Moayedi and their families who cherished her as one of their own. Visitation will be on Sunday November 6th from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held on Monday November 7th at 10 a.m. at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home Chapel with Interment at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please honor Adrienne by helping to fight the disease that killed her and making a donation in her name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at, 50 Briar Hollow Lane Suite 310W Houston, TX, 77027. The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and staff in the The Woodlands, St. Louis, at Texas Children's Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Baylor Clinic for the loving care they gave to Adrienne during her life.
