Agustina Flores

She was born August 28, 1929 in Mexico to parents Matel Hernandez and Petra Salinas. Agustina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her children: Manuel Flores and his wife Gloria, Guadalupe Garza and her husband Jorge, Juana Diaz and her husband Eusebio, Maria Garcia and her husband Salvador, Margarita Garza and her husband Evaristo, and Jose Flores; son-in-law, Arturo Nerio; 28 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; 34 great-great grandchildren: 1 adopted granddaughter, 2 adopted great grandchildren; 1 adopted great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Agustina is preceded in death by her husband Ignacio Flores; daughter Francisca Nerio and granddaughter Maria Elena Flores-Lopez.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Also, a visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 1917 Cochran Street, Houston, Texas 77009 followed by a rite of committal in the Brookside Memorial Park.
