Alan Bruce House

Alan Bruce House, age 71, of Spring, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. He was born in Shreveport, LA on December 24, 1951 to parents Warthen “Bruce” House and Linda “Lynn” Frances McAdams.

Alan graduated from Westbury High School. He met Cathy in Columbus, OH and married on January 18, 2015. Alan was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses throughout his life. There was nothing that brought him more joy than spending time with his family and friends. Those who knew him well know his love for music and singing.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Lynn; brother, Royce.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy House; sons, Aaron (Regina) House, and Ben (Jessica) House; grandchildren Roxy and Nash House; step children, Amy (John) Hutton, Chris (Melissa) Beegle, and Greg (Mirna) Beegle; 5 step-grandchildren, Autumn Beegle, Justin (Chelsea) Beegle, Tegan (Kyle) Stong, Kaitiye Beegle, and Alen Beegle; 6 great grandchildren; a cousin Sue Overturf of California as well as numerous friends.

A visitation for Alan will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a prayer service from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
