He was proceeded in death by his beloved father, Raymond M. Avila, Sr.
Albert is survived by his mother, Mary Trevino Ledkins, siblings, Raymond Avila and wife Janie, Marcella Barboza and husband Noah, nieces and nephews, Alexis, Noah III, Alyssa, Marcelo, and Joseph, great-niece Julia, numerous cousins and life-long friends.
Albert was nicknamed ‘Uncle Bobbie’ by his nieces and nephews, and will be remembered for his love of Houston sports, fast cars, music, horror and sci-fi novels, and Texas BBQ.
A memorial gathering will be held for Albert on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, Texas 77039.
