Albert was born in Houston, Texas on June 28, 1952, to parents Albert Perez and Mary Hilda Carrizal. He worked as a sign fabricator at State Sign for over thirty years. Albert was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and had a passion for the Wings Over Houston Airshow. He liked watching sports and wrestling as well as taking his grandkids to the movie theater.
He is preceded in death by his son, Alexander Perez; father, Albert Perez; and mother, Mary Hilda Carrizal.
He is survived by his son and his daughter in law, Albert and Alma Perez; his daughter, Angela Theresa Perez; grandsons, Dominick Alexander Perez, Vincent Alexander Mendez, Salvador Nikolas Medina, and Victor Santiago Medina; granddaughter, Georgina Jade Medina; brother, Rudy Perez; and sisters, Esther Perez and Yolanda Herrera.
A visitation for Albert will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, at the same address as the services.
Acting as pallbearers at Albert’s funeral service will be Salvador N. Medina, Victor S. Medina, Nick Rivas, Vincent A. Mendez, Louis Rivas, and Albert Perez III.
