Albert Ralph Torres, age 58, passed away July 4, 2024 in Houston, Texas surrounded by loved ones. Son of Panfilo and Yolanda Torres. Albert was born July 10th 1966 in Houston, TX. He graduated from Scarborough High School. His first ever job was cleaning offices with his aunt Ruth and from there he went to become a Security Guard. During his time as a Security Guard he met and fell in love with his beloved wife Diane Garcia. After that he found his love for his life long career of setting up medical equipment. Albert enjoyed watching football, baseball and basketball. He would watch the Houston Astros and WWE. He also enjoyed smoking cigars and drinking an ice cold beer.
Albert is preceded in death by his mother Yolanda Torres, his father Panfilo Torres and his brother Richard Torres. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Diane Torres; his son Albert Torres Jr.; his daughter Jennifer Lira (Cristian); his son Elias Torres; and his daughter Yolanda Torres and grandson Nathan Villanueva; his brother Larry Torres (Luisa); his sisters Sylvia Gutierrez (Rafael) and Rose Ramirez (Marcello); his nephew Nick Morales (Nancy), his nieces Kristina Juarez (Gerald), Monique Perez (Juan), and Alexandria Ramirez, his nephews Bryan Torres, John Torres and , his nieces Briana Zenteno and Juliana Zenteno, his nephews Steven Lira, Nicholas Lira, Noah Garcia and Tristan Garcia. Along with his In-laws Darlene Garcia (Henry), Lisa Zenteno (Ignacio), Ernest Adame (Melissa) and Monica Garcia.
Our Dad will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His family was his pride and joy. You could have always counted on him, he never hesitated to help anyone in need. Now he is an angel in Heaven to watch over us and his number one guy, aka his grandson.
A visitation for Albert will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A second visitation will occur Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 7:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 19, 2024 at 12:30pm at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Community, 3600 Brinkman St, Houston, TX 77018. A committal service will follow Friday, July 19, 2024 from 2:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
