Alberta Jean Shaw, 88, of Houston, passed away on Tuesday, July 8. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Albert and Zona, Young, husband, Clarence, James Shaw,son Adrian L Shaw and daughter Lisa J Shaw. She is survived by her son James K Shaw( Paula Shaw) and her grandson. Nicholas Shaw. Jean enjoyed an almost 40 year career with the Arabia Shrine Temple as the Benefits secretary. She was responsible for making sure the ill children were admitted into the hospital for their care. She took great pride in her work, but it was her fierce love for her family that truly fulfilled her heart.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 19 at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, 113001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079 followed by a committal burial service.
