Alberto Dorta, Jr., age 67, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He was born June 15, 1955 in Havana, Cuba, to Alberto Dorta, Sr. and Josefina Comte Ferrer; the oldest of two children.
Alberto met his second wife, Barbara Dorta, through a mutual friend. He and Barbara were married on October 3, 1992. Alberto was a dedicated husband and father.
Preceded in death by his loving parents. Survived by his two children, Carlos Alberto Dorta and his wife, Lisa, and Shanine Marie Dorta; his four grandchildren, Carlos Alexander Dorta, Jaxson Matthew DeMar, Alivia Grace Dorta and Austin James Dorta; and brother Roberto Ezequiel Dorta and wife Mary.
