The son of Lorenzo Jimenez & Carolina Salinas Nava, Albert Jimenez Sr. grew up in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on November 14, 1931 in Falfurrias Texas.
At the age of 23, Albert Jimenez Sr. enlisted in the US Marines. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Private. As part of this service, he received the National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
Albert Jimenez Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Olga Jimenez and their children Janie Klasel, Mary Ann Mirelez, Albert Jimenez, Cynthia Martinez, and Jessica Martinez. Along with grandchildren: Alicia Williams, Albert Jimenez III, Adrienne Murphy, Adam Jimenez, Jose Quintero, Christopher Quintero, Robert Klasel and Eliud Treviño plus 13 great grandchildren.
Albert will be deeply missed, and forever be loved!
A service honoring the life of Albert Jimenez Sr. will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a memorial service at 2:30 PM.
