Alejandro Aguilar

Alejandro G. Aguilar of Houston, Texas, surrounded by his loving wife of 50 years, Julia, and his beloved children: Estela, Alejandro Jr., Carmen, and Mirella, passed into eternal rest October 12, 2015. Alejandro was born in San Jose del Grito Moztezuma, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on April 1, 1933. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Francisco Aguilar Puenta and Juliana Guerrero and brother Jose Baleriano Aguilar. Alejandro is survived by his wife Julia Reyna Aguilar; children: Estela Campos, Alejandro Aguilar Jr., Carmen Hernandez, and Mirella Macias; grandchildren: Jose Luis Campos, Jr., Ricardo Campos, Omar Campos, Alexandra Aguilar, Desiree Aguilar, Crystal Hernandez, David Hernandez Jr., Jonathon J. Hernandez, Emily Macias, Juan Francisco Macias Jr., Jacob Daniel Macias, and great-grandchildren: Christopher Lamar Baker, Naomi Ann Jones, Luis Edwards Jones, Layla Campos, Maya Campos, Christian Campos, Richard Campos, Anthony Campos, Richelle Campos, Isaiah Campos; brothers: Jose Adeladio Aguilar, Jose Isabel Aguilar, Jose Eladio Aguilar; sisters: Maria Alcadia Aguilar, Maria Luisa Aguilar, Rafaela Martinez, and a host of relatives and friends.

Dad, we will miss you and our hearts are broken but we know that you are in eternity with our heavenly Father. We will miss you every day of our lives. Thank you for being the most wonderful and caring father and grandpa. We love you.

Services will be conducted by Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 5-9p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7p.m. Funeral mass will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 10a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 10500 Nold Road, Houston, Texas 77016, with interment following at Brookside Memorial Park.
