Born in Plano, TX, Alexander lived a rich life, one he enjoyed thanks to a global perspective developed while growing up across the Middle East, Far East, Europe and Texas. His deepest love and connection rested with his family in Greece.
Alex was a devoted son to Allyn and Olga Conwell, a cherished brother to Alexis Maloney and brother-in-law to David Maloney, a beloved uncle to Trenton, Lola and Maya Maloney. Alexander prioritized family above all else, leaving behind a legacy of love and unwavering bonds. His memory will forever be cherished by all those who loved him, of which there are many.
His passion for technology began in childhood, leading him to establish a thriving IT consulting and managed services business, which he operated for nearly two decades. In his final years, he achieved remarkable physical and personal milestones—transforming his health, overcoming depression, and embracing his best self. Handsome and vibrant, he radiated confidence and vitality, inspiring those around him with his disciplined fitness regimen and renewed zest for life.
Alex’s curiosity and brilliance with computers defined his career, but his kindness and warmth defined his character. His parents adored him deeply, and his sister mourns the loss of her lifelong confidant and protector.
A reception for Alexander will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, followed by a memorial service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
