Alexia Margarete Ardeleanu

Alexia Ardeleanu, age 21, fell asleep in the Lord Sunday June 15th, 2014. She is survived by her loving parents, Constantin and Bessie Ardeleanu, brother Evan Ardeleanu, Paternal Grandfather Constantin Ardeleanu, Maternal Grandparents; Michael and Evangelia Eleftheri. Also survived by a large extended family and loving friends.

Alexia was born on October 5th, 1992 in Chicago, IL. Alexia graduated with Honors from Kingwood High School, Kingwood, TX in 2011. She was a Senior with Honors in the School of Business at University of North Texas, Denton, TX, while working in an internship program with McKesson Corporation in Carrolton, TX. Recently, Alexia was awarded Finance Student of the Year, 2014 and was President of the Professional Leadership Program at UNT, 2013-2014.

Alexia was a member of the St. Cyril Orthodox Church in The Woodlands, TX. She was also a member of the St. Cyril choir and chaired youth events. There will be a local memorial service for Alexia on Wednesday, June 18th at 10am, at St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church, 7202 FM 2920, Spring, TX. All are invited. The actual funeral will be in Indiana, early next week at The Descent of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Christian Church, (750 West 61st Ave., Merrillville, IN 46410) Please contact Holy Ghost Church for details.

In lieu of flowers, her family has expressed that any financial donations be given in honor of Alexia to either St. Cyril Orthodox Church's building fund (3333 St. Panther Creek Dr. The Woodlands, TX 77381, or to Dormition of the Mother of God Orthodox Monastery in Rives Junction, MI.
