My heart is completely broken. I have no words to express the overwhelming sadness that I feel for the Sosa family and Amanda and their babies!! Poncho was the sweetest, kindest, most loving man I’ve ever known. He had the best sense of humor and that will be missed terribly. I don’t understand why God needed this Angel so soon and left all of us to miss him so much! My most sincere condolences to his family and friends.

When I first got into football training my sophomore year I had no friends and didn't know anybody on the team at first. I remember everybody talking about a player on the team that was very strong name Sosa. During the first week of off-season training I ended up in the weight room and saw a crowd of people yelling and screaming at a player and found out his name was Sosa. They were basically cheering Sosa on because he was about to power clean a heavy amount of weight that most of the team could not lift. Sosa power cleaned the the weight as if it was nothing and everybody began screaming and y'all and congratulating Sosa on the lift. While they were congratulating Sosa Coach Dippel told me to get down and power clean the same weight. So being that I was new I did what I was told, I got a hold of the weight and power cleaned it as well and everybody in the weight room begin to look at me and it got quiet. It got quiet because nobody knew who I was and here I was matching the lift that Sosa just did that nobody else could do but us. I remember seeing Sosa's face going from smiling to serious as he walked over to me. Not knowing what was going to happen and thinking that I had just made an enemy, Sosa comes up to me and says hey man that's a pretty good lift You're strong for a little guy. Then Sosa said we should be lifting partners and from that moment we became lifetime best friends. Im really gonna miss you my friend and I'll see you again In heavens weight room.

My condolences to your family. I met Alfonso when we both worked at Corporate Express. He was always cheerful and willing to go the extra mile and was one of our go to employees to help out in a bind. He left the company to pursue schooling and we would run into each other many times at Cy-Fair college while we were both working on our associate degrees. Enjoying a quick chat or snack in the cafeteria. We reconnected on Facebook years later and it was always great to see and hear about his life with his girls. He always had a smile on his face, is the thing I will always remember about Alfonso. May God bless your family and pour out his comforting spirit in this time of need. 

I’m so sorry for your loss. I knew Alfonso as a coworker for Custom Install Magnolia.   As an installer with less experience I looked to the rest of the installers for any tips or guidance I could pick up on the fly.  Alfonso was a genuine person, a patient person . He made time to teach and helped build my confidence in our work. He will truly be missed.  My condolences to his family. As many others have said he was very proud of his family and my prayers are with you.  I appreciate having met him and his loss is felt at Galleria and beyond.

Our family is is sorry for your loss.  We had the privilege of meeting Alfonso when he came to our home to install our security system.  From time to time throughout the day he would talk about his family & how proud he was.  I have worked with his Dad for many years, he was equally proud of his son & family.  I pray that God will provide peace beyond understanding during this most difficult time.  God bless.  

Working with Alfonso àlways made me a better person because I knew I had to bring my A game because he did the same in everything he did , he showed me how to push harder and how to do things differently with another perspective I really can't believe this is good bye , I am shocked but through it all Alfonso loved his family and it showed in everything he did he will be greatly missed

I remember goofing off in 9th grade algebra class in Mr. Jasik's class. That was a really good time we had before … 
Or skipping class during university days to go play pool or bowling…. Seems like yesterday but that has been already almost 20 years ago …. 

Time does fly but I didn’t expect you to be gone so soon dude 
Everyone has an expired date but to me… you logged out too early brother 

You rest peacefully in heaven and one day, whenever we see each other again, we shall catch up on the things we missed 

I really really really miss you brother ….
