Alfonso is survived by his wife, Esperanza Alva; son Alfonso Alva Jr. (Rebecca); daughter Estella Martinez; and son Louis Alva; sister Norberta Alva Gonzalez.

Mr. Alva is survived by his 3 children, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
