Alfonso "Ponching" M Francisco

Passed away on Friday morning, 01/07/2022 at Houston Methodist Willow brook Hospital after internal bleeding that led to multiple organ failure.

Born in the Philippines, Mr. Francisco spent his childhood in Manila where he attended Lakan dula elementary and high school.

He lived in Pampanga st. Tondo, Manila; where he met and married his wife Myrna Francisco on April 10, 1977.

Mr. Francisco was an active member of The Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph Catholic church.

He and his family moved to Chicago Illinois in July of 2001. Thereafter, he and his family moved to Houston, Texas.

He worked at Bush IAH airport as baggage handler before retiring.

He is survived by his dear wife of 44 years, Myrna Francisco. His four children included: Raymund, Grace Anne, Ryan and Reggie Francisco.

Sisters- Letty, Mely, Lita; Brothers- Manuel, Oscar, and Rogel.

Father-in-law to Mary Ann, Amiee, Rona and a grandfather to John Xander, Sean John, Lian Rose, Ava Mai and Aria Vy.

Viewing will be on Thursday, 01/13/2022 at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions at 05:00pm - 08:00pm (Rosary 5-6pm), 3410 Cypress Creek PKWY, Houston, Tx. 77068. Funeral service will be on Friday, 01/14/2022 at 12:15pm - 01:15pm. Burial will follow right after at 02:00pm which will be held at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. 13102 North FWY, Houston, Tx. 77060
