We cannot express the sadness we feel at this time. We have to be strong and remember all the good times and experiences that Uncle Al brought to all of us. We also must recognize his service during the Second World War as a Combat Engineer with the 3rd Army 1944-1945. He belongs to Americas Greatest Generation that helped keep our country free. Our prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. God bless him

My heart goes out to the Mendoza family. I have so many fond memories of your family's visits to California. My Dad, Carlos Arauza, always referred to Uncle Al as his favorite cousin. During those visits, I always remember them joking and laughing together. He was blessed to have such a beautiful family. My prayers go out to Aunt Nora, Betty, Evonn, and John. May he rest in peace.

With deepest sympathy,

Dear Aunt Nora, Betty, John, and Evonn,

I express my deepest condolences. I am so saddened to hear of Uncle Al's passing. I will always have wonderful memories of your whole family visiting our family in California. I remember how Uncle Al was so kind. My Mom and Dad, Josie, Mary Helen, Tony and I truly enjoyed your visits. It was extra special to observe how happy my Grandmother Emily and Great-Uncle J.S. (Mendoza) would be to see their nephew and all of you (his beautiful wife and children). Please know that you and the entire Mendoza family are in my thoughts and prayers.

With much love and blessings,
Emily (Niece/Cousin)

Sending our condolences to Aunt Nora, Betty, John, Evonn, and all our Mendoza Family. We were saddened to learn of another dear Mendoza family member's passing. Emily and I have fond memories, as our parents and siblings did, of Uncle Al and Aunt Nora's visits to California with Betty, John and Evonn. May Uncle Al rest in peace.
