Dad... tomorrow is Thanksgiving and it hurts so much to know that you won't be there with us.  I miss you so much and that I can't even begin to tell you.  It's only now that I realize that I am so much like you in so many fashions.  I only wish that I can continue to grow to be at least half the man you were from all avenues.  I love you Dad with all my heart and will one day see you again!  Rest In Peace Daddy .... your little boy.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you and wish we could celebrate your birthday tomorrow together as we have in past years.   Just know you are always in my heart and I love you always. Happy Birthday Dad!

We will miss you terribly but your memory will live in our hearts forever and ever.  I wake up and you are the first thing I think of.  I go to sleep each night and you are the last thing I think of.  You are my hero.  Words cannot express how grateful I am to you and Mom for chosing me to be your daughter 46 years ago when you walked into Catholic Charities.  I was the luckiest little girl then and i'm still the luckiest now.  Sometimes I have to remind myself that I was adopted because you never made me feel any less than your natural born child.  You gave me everything that you could especially the most important thing which was love and suppot and affection. My heart hurts so bad at this moment.  I could continue to talk about all the wonderful things about you.  Oh my G how I want to just scream and cry right now but I can't.  I came back to work today in hopes that it will help me pick myself up and try to get my life back to normal especially for Mom and our Gabriel.  Dad thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving my Gabriel so much.  I know that he means the world to you.  You raised him like your own.  You were there when he was born.  You were there when he was sick, when he started school.  He considers you his Dad and he will always call you Dad.  When people ask who his Dad is, he alway replies "Alfred G. Luna, Jr.".  He says it with such pride.  I am so proud that you are my father.  The first man to love me unconditionally.  I'm so proud that so many people came to honor you this past weekend.  All of our friends remember the kind and gentle person that you were.  I laugh because so many people commented on your dancing abilities.  Man Dad they even compared you to Fres Estaire.  How about that? It was like dancing on clouds when we danced with you.  I'm so proud of all of your accomplishmenents.  Thank you for your service.  Thank you for being such a family man.  Than you for teaching us how to be respectful and appreciative.  Good bye for now Dad but not forever.  See you in heaven my sweet angel.  Love you like crazy.  D
