Alfred Costilla Rodriguez

Alfred Costilla Rodriguez, age 89, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Alfred was born in Houston, Texas on April 20, 1932 to Gilberto and Enriqueta Rodriguez. Alfred married the love of his life, Noemi Del Toro Rodriguez September 15, 1956.

Alfred was preceded in death by his wife Noemi Del Toro Rodriguez, his parents Gilberto and Enriqueta Rodriguez, brothers Gilbert and David Rodriguez, sister Irene Lopez.

Alfred is survived by his only daughter Dolores R. Garcia and her husband Fred Garcia, sisters Mary Theresa Villasana, Margaret and husband John De Leon, Angelina Rivera, Connie Olivarez, Rosa Gonzales, Minerva Rodriguez, Henrietta Chavez and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.

Alfred was a Korean War veteran in the United States Marine Corp. Alfred was also a proud Purple Heart recipient.

A funeral service for Alfred will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
