I was so sorry to hear about Alfred. I worked with him on a number of occasions when he managed the UT Nursing store for Follett. He was always easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and ready to help if there was a problem. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My deepest condolences to Alfred's family. Alfred and I worked together at UTHSC when he managed the School of Nursing Campus Store. He was a great manager who was well respected by his team and peers. Alfred and his team also served the Texas Woman's University-Houston campus, supplying them with course materials, healthcare uniforms and supplies from the UT store and occasionally set up a pop-up store at the TWU campus. The UTHSC Dental and Medical schools also relied on Alfred. The managers knew he would lend support whenever he could. He was a team player in every sense. Alfred was also a huge help to me when I left UTHSC and went to UH-Clear Lake. When he left our company, we continued to keep in touch. He often texted just to see how things were going which usually led to a long back-and-forth text conversation. I will definitely miss those conversations. I am honored to have known Alfred, and to call him a friend. May he rest in peace.
