Alice Martinez

Alice P. Martinez, age 70 earned her wings May 1,2022 after a long battle with cancer. She is now at ease, fully healed and at peace in heaven. She was a deeply loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was born to Janie and Marcus Pina on June 12,1951 in Sugar Land,Texas. She married Rudy Martinez December 7th, 1988 and they have been happily married for 33 years.

Alice loved crafting for all occasions; her house was always decorated inside and out with all her

latest and greatest creations. She would share her crafts with her close family and friends; easter

bunnies, gnomes and holiday signs to name a few. She loved spending time with her family, she

was always laughing and poking fun. She was also a life long Houston Astros fan, she never

missed watching a single game. She also loved reading romance books Nora Roberts being one

of her favorite authors as well as shopping and going out for lunch with her daughter on the

weekends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Janie and Marcus Pina Jr, and brother Marcus III. She

is survived by her husband Rudy, daughter Ashley and son Steven. Grandsons Julian and Aiden,

granddaughter Marissa and great-granddaughter Alessia whom she was blessed to have spoiled.

Sisters Gloria, Irene, Linda, Carmen, Margie and husband Joe. As well as countless nieces and

nephews.

Her laughter and smiles will be forever missed but her memory will always be with us.

A visitation will be held Friday May 13,2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Forest Park Westheimer

service will occur Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800

Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
