Alice G. Reyna

Alice G. Reyna, who loved to be called Momo by her grandkids, was called to be with the Lord on December 4, 2020. She made her grand entrance on June 25, 1945 in Houston, Texas to parents Henry M. Garcia and Diamantina Davila Garcia. She loved her husband dearly and was known to frequently yell out "Frank!" to which he replied, "Yes Dear." Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her world. She loved to be there to support all her grandchildren. Alice enjoyed cosmetology, flowers, jewelry, shopping and road trips with her family. She loved watching her stories and rooting for her Houston Astros. She never considered anyone a stranger, just a friend she hadn't met yet. Alice had the biggest heart and helped anyone she could; to know her was to love her.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Henry Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Sr. and Robert Garcia. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 56 years Frank R. Reyna; three children: daughter Gina M. Ybarra and husband Paul Ybarra, Sr., daughter Cathy R. De La Cruz and husband Rudy De La Cruz, and son Ray Reyna; five grandchildren: Krystle P. Reyna and wife Crystal, Anthony P. Ybarra and wife Bianca, Brittany N. Barnes and husband Dante, Jason M. De La Cruz, and Jonathan E. De La Cruz; two great-grandchildren Jayden A. Barnes and Alia G. Barnes; 2 great-granddaughters Natalee Guajardo and Sabrina Guajardo; and great-grandbaby Ybarra coming soon. Also surviving her are 16 brothers and 7 sisters; many nieces, nephews and God children who she loved very much.

Due to Covid-19 precautions, there is a mask mandate and please no physical contact. There will be no visitation, viewing and exit only on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and a virtual only funeral service will stream live Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a virtual only burial that will stream live from Brookside Funeral Home.
