Alicia Alanis Contreras se fue con nuestro Señor el 16 de marzo del 2018 en Humble, Texas.

Ella nació el 7 de julio de 1939 en Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas antes de mudarse a Houston, Texas donde vivió la mayor parte de su vida.

Ella trabajo cuidando niños, ancianos, y enfermos. A ella le encantaba la música, tejer, bordar, leer su biblia, y su familia.

Sobrevivientes incluyen a su hermana Irma Zepeda y hermano Jesus Alanis. Procede la muerte de su esposo Pedro Contreras, sus padres Pedro Alanis y Antonia Alanis, hermanos Enrique Alanis, Pedro Alanis Jr., y Gilberto Alanis y sus hermanas Felipa Alanis y Delia Narvaez.
