Alicia Maria Gonzalez

Alicia Maria Gonzalez, 77, of Houston, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1949. Alicia will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew and loved her.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Alicia’s life was rooted in family and the steady care she gave so freely. She is survived by her children, Lily Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, and Judy Gonzalez; her daughter-in-law, Maria Gonzalez; and her grandchildren, Arian Gonzalez and Matthew Gonzalez, whom she cherished as two of her greatest blessings.

Alicia was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Gonzalez; her father, Pedro Juarez; her mother, Guadalupe Trevino; her brother, Pedro Guadalupe Juarez ; and her sister, Guadalupe Ramos.

Those closest to Alicia knew her as a loving presence. She was someone who welcomed others into her home with open arms and an open heart. Her compassion and care were felt in quiet, everyday ways, and her warmth was often accompanied by laughter and joy that lifted the people around her.

She found happiness in simple, meaningful pursuits such as tending to her garden, creating drawings, sewing, enjoying karaoke, and dancing. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, building memories that will be carried forward with gratitude and love.
