Alton Antonio Stafford was born on April 4, 2001, in Houston, Texas, to Alton L. Stafford and Shantel A. White. Alton was lovingly known to his family as “Phat” and to his friends as "TreMoji." Alton grew up and attended school in the Acres Homes and Klein areas. At eight years old, he began facing challenges related to his kidneys, which led to kidney failure in his teens. In 2016, Alton became paralyzed after complications during a routine medical procedure. However, Alton did not let this stop him; he kept doing the things he loved. He soon started driving, swimming, traveling, cooking, and so much more, truly living his life to the fullest.
Alton was kind-hearted, funny, and a joy to be around. His talent was undeniable; at any moment, you might catch him singing, rapping, or creating content for his next reel.
Alton left a lasting impression on everyone he met and will be deeply missed. Alton was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Alton gained his wings on July 27, 2026. He now rests peacefully with his mother, Shantel A. White; his sister, Zion M. Stafford; his grandparents, Taresa White and Antoine Brown; and all of his loved ones who have gone before him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Alton L. Stafford; his brothers, Deionte Taylor and Solomon Stafford; his nephews, Zy’aire Stafford and Mesiah Stafford; his niece, A’Nylah Simon; his grandparents, Lee and Patricia Stafford; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
